Gil loved to eat. He would be asking what’s for merienda (afternoon snack) while still having lunch. He loved parties and was an excellent dancer and karaoke singer. He loved sports, especially basketball. He had a contagious laughter and was a good story-teller. He had great enjoyment with his grandchildren , loved spending time with them, and spoke about them visiting the Philippines to enjoy his retirement home and the surrounding community, even ensuring he had a big enough vehicle to haul everybody around.
Gil was a great husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend and will be sorely missed by all
