My dad worked together with him many times both at St. Viator and in the hotel business. I know both my mom and dad would have been deeply saddened by his passing, they were great friends. Pat and I worked together at the Fremont Hotel for many years.  He was such an outstanding guy, easy to work with and efficient at his job.  I was really sorry when he moved on but happy for him when he  was offered a better position in keeping with his abilities.  Deepest condolences to the family.

All you have to do is look at what Pat has left behind to know what kind of mark he has made on this world. 4 loving and successful children, 11 grandchildren, hundreds of friends and family members, his rock-of-a-teammate for the last 55 plus years, Liz, plus a thriving business. Pat was a rare cat. The ability to crunch numbers and stay relevant with tax codes, etc plus getting up in front of others and telling jokes, writing poems and being an overly affable guy made him one-of-a-kind. He will be sorely missed! I love you, Pat! I'm better for having known you.

I will never forget the day I received a poem that Pat wrote especially for me on my 80th birthday. It brought tears to my eyes. It spoke to me of the kind of generous and gentle human being that he was, and his huge heart. I'll miss his phone calls.

I already miss my dear friend, Pat -- we've been friends for so many years and it just will not ever be the same without you.  I am grateful for the time we were able to spend together -  working for you and Liz was like fun than work.  RIP Pat, you will be missed by so many.

I worked with Pat at Bache for 2 years, 1965-67. I remember him as a very funny guy and indeed a quick wit. I share every ones sadness.

So sorry to hear the news.  I met Pat Beckwith as a consummate unlv tailgater and fan, got to see him raise 4 great children (and relatives too), keep his faith throughout, and finally got to watch him diligently and wittily help me face an IRS audit.  There will never be anyone like you, sir.

So sorry Beckwith family my memories are so many of family get togethers years ago!! Pat will be truly missed he was my fathers best friend and a great man all around!! My thoughts are with all of you!!

Patrick was my friend at St. Viators. I remember going over to his home and Mr. and Mrs. Beckwith were always welcoming and we had a great time listening to record albums in the basement with your brother. God bless and cherish your family always.
