Harold R. McCartney, 76, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Harold was born on May 22, 1935 in Indiana. He was a retired advertising manager and a United States Army veteran. Harold was preceded in death by his parents: Asa and Martha McCartney; brother: Jim McCartney and sister-in-law: Joan Hoerstman. He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Evelyn McCartney; son: Joe McCartney and his wife Dolly; daughter: Roxiann McCartney; four grandchildren: Geri McCartney, John Duff, Karrie Smith and her husband Brian, and Andrea Thomas and her husband David; two sisters: Betty Montague and Mildred Roe; three sister-in-laws: Mary McCartney, Deloris Newcomer, and Sylvia Van Dussen; three brother-in-laws: William Roe, Don Newcomer and Al Hoerstman; and 15 nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled.
