

in Minneapolis, MN, and was a 34 year resident of Las Vegas. Roger was a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel serving in the Korean
Conflict and Vietnam. After retirement he flew Grand Canyon tours and did tax preparation. Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather with strong convictions. He was preceded in death by his mother Thelma and stepfather William Schmidt. Roger is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Barbara; daughters, Tamara Amann (Wes) and Vicki Hegge (Jeff); sons David and Michael; grandchildren, Erica, Amber, Daniel, Kristen, Courtney and Chad; great-grandson, Shaun. Celebration Memorial service will be held Monday November 14, at 11:00 a.m. at First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 301 South Maryland Pkwy, followed by Military Funeral Honor Ceremony on the church school grounds. Burial will be in Minneapolis, MN at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the First Good Shepherd School Scholarship Fund.
