Harry Lee Jensen, 86, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 25, 2012. He was born April 26, 1926, in Coulter, Iowa, where he was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. He was the second oldest of seven siblings. Harry served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and retired from Wackenhut Security Services at the Nevada Test Site. Harry was a member of American Legion for 66 years. He is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Bonnie; stepson, Carroll (Janet) Kalvig; granddaughter, Renee Kalvig; and four great-grandchildren, Irene, Adreana, Noah and Cheyenne; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Earl. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1. Visitation again will be from 11 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Oct. 2, both at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, with burial following, both at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd.
