Hazel Adkins was born in Morton, Mississippi, to the late Leatha and Wesley Blackwell. Hazel moved to Las Vegas in 1949 she met and married Earl L Adkins Jr. who proceeded her in death. She was a homemaker. Hazel received Christ at an early age, and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. Serving as a member of the Mothers Board, She received Recognition of Honor for being one of Zions longest living members in the Churches 100th year Celebration last year. Hazel leaves to celebrate her memories: daughters, Curlene Cooper (Ennis Jr), Las Vegas, NV., Sandra Finney, Dallas, TX., Marilyn Williams, Garland, TX., Hope Glover, Dallas TX., Sons: Robert Boages, Las Vegas, NV., and Billy Adkins, Dallas, TX., Four Grandchildren: Bryan Holmes, Alisha Hardy, Troy Amaro and Domonique Boages Four Great Grandchildren: Izaac Holmes, Nathaniel Holmes, Kai Amaro and Nevaeh Noel. Sister: Richelean Counts, Little Rock Arkansas. A very special niece: Patricia George, Las Vegas and a host of other relatives and friends who also cherish her memories.
