Hazel I. Armagost, 79, passed away April 25, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born May 29, 1938 to Harold E. and Dollie M. (Buzard) Hendee at Sharon Springs, Kansas. She married Gary H. Armagost on December 20, 1959 at Greeley, Colorado.
Hazel's greatest enjoyment was family, friends, co-workers and travel. In traveling she particularly enjoyed being near the ocean and in the mountains. She enjoyed cloudy, rainy days, breakfast and lunch on the patio, going for walks around the neighborhood and trips to Colorado to visit family. In her younger years she enjoyed western-line-dancing with her husband and friends. Hazel worked many years as a sales associate in the retail jewelry industry. She lived in the Las Vegas area for 52 years.
Hazel is survived by her husband Gary; a son, H. Dean Armagost; daughter-in-law, Deborah; daughter, Debra M. Zinni; son-in-law, Nicholas; two granddaughters, Alissa R. Armagost and Kelsi R. Rueda; Kelsi's husband, James; and a great-granddaughter, Avery R. Rueda; all of whom live in Las Vegas. Two sisters, Thelma Kidd and Helen Bolin both of whom live in Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service will be held at Palm Mortuary, 1600 South. Jones, Las Vegas, Nevada on May 16 at 3:00PM.
