HELEN DOLORES NEWMAN, 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away, March 5, 2012. She was born June 8, 1932, in Virginia, to Otis and Evelyn Jones. She moved to Las Vegas in 1954 and was a lifetime resident. Helen proudly worked as an office manager for over 25 years for the Frontier Girl Scouts. She is preceded in death by her mother, father and step-father. Helen is survived by her loving husband, Gus; daughter Beverly (Larry) Abraham of Los Ranchos, New Mexico; son, Bill (Vicki) Newman of Las Vegas; daughter, Sheree (Tom) Caldwell of Pryor, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sister, Myrna Martin; brother O.B. Jones and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 12:00pm at Palm Mortuary 1325 N. Main Street
