

Helen Lois Simmonds, age 100, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. A vibrant and enduring soul, Helen lived a century full of purpose, love, and unshakable strength. Born on September 9, 1924, Helen built a remarkable life as a successful motel broker and singer—roles that reflected her sharp mind, fierce independence, and radiant spirit. She had a smile that could light up a room and a work ethic that never wavered. To her family, Helen was much more than her accomplishments. She was strong, sassy, bold, and nurturing. She had a heart for her children and grandchildren, always knowing when to offer gentle wisdom or a bit of lovingly delivered sass. Her legacy is not only in the deals she closed or the songs she sang but in the lives she shaped with unwavering care and deep love. She will be remembered for her fierce resilience, her contagious laughter, and the way she made every person around her feel seen and cherished. Helen is survived by her daughter, Cathy Naugle; her grandchildren, Rene Caldwell, Ronda Pollack, Ben Batt, Max Batt, Anna Batt, Jeremiah Salcido, Taylor Schumell, Chloe Pollack, Chase Simmonds, and Taylor Forrest; & 11 enduring and loving great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Carl Naugle, Maxwell Simmonds and Karen Naugle. Her life will be honored with a visitation on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
