Henny Evangelina Kawet

Henny Evangelina Kawet, 67 years old, a loving housewife and mother, passed away on November 7, 2016 at Infinity Hospice care in Las Vegas. She was born in Plaju on August 15, 1949 and resided in California since 1985, moved to Las Vegas in September 2015. Henny and Herman had been together for 27 years. She loved helping people, loved dogs and animals in general, cooking, and watching “The Voice”. Henny was an avid NBA fan and her favorite team was the Lakers. She also enjoyed watching tennis and volleyball. In addition, Henny was a news junkie. You could talk to her about local current events, world news or even politics; she knew it all. Henny was an amazing woman and will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joost and Betsy Kawet; two brothers, Rudolf Anton Kawet and M. Johnny Kawet; and her older sister, Anneconnny Ester Kawet. Henny is survived by her devoted husband, Herman Bachtiar; three children: Albert Manuel, Imandra Elnathan, and Esther Myra Indira; five grandchildren, Ray Elba, Joshua Tigor, Jane Evangelina, Adam Sadely, and Ivanka Angelina; three brothers, Robert Nicolaas Kawet, and Fred Jan Kawet; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 13th from 10am – 2pm with the funeral service to follow. Both will be at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146.
