All those who met Henry Jr. will tell you the most distinct thing about him was that he was a good guy and a great friend.
Henry Jr. lived in the Philippines for the first few years after his birth. He and his family moved to New Mexico in 1988, then Las Vegas in 1990. Henry Jr. graduated from Durango High School in 2003. He joined the US Army, trained in Fort Knox, Kentucky, and spent most of his tour in Camp Casey, Dongducheon, South Korea and Fort Riley, Kansas. He returned to Las Vegas when his obligations to the military ended.
Henry Jr.'s passions included family, billiards, music, weaponry, and martial arts. He could break down the history of either or weave a story that captured you so wholly that you didn't believe him when he told you he was just pulling your leg. He loved to laugh. He had a great laugh.
Henry Robert Shoulders Jr. is survived by his mother, Rica V. Bledsoe, three sisters Camil Shoulders, Jocy Shoulders, Dolores Johnson; Nieces and Nephews, Donavon Ryales, Ariana Ryales, Reggie Johnson Jr., Jovon Johnson, Elani Johnson, and grandnephew Silas Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Robert Shoulders Sr., and a host of other relatives and friends.
