Hollie J. Armstrong, 60, of North Las Vegas, passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2012. She was born Dec. 11, 1951, in Chandler, Ariz., and was a 16-year resident of Nevada. Hollie was an asset protection chief financial officer and a member of Shadow Hills Baptist Church for 14 years. Hollie is survived by her husband, Richard Armstrong; daughters, Brenna McClellan of Henderson, Bridget Spalla of Lancaster, Calif., and Jennifer Smith of Grass Valley, Calif; son, Danny Armstrong of Las Vegas; father, Cecil Garee of Las Vegas; sister, Robin Nunn of Canton, Ga.; brother, Greg Garee of Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive.
