Holly Darlyne Funes

She was born on January 12, 1979 to parents Jody Funes and Greg Erickson, both of South Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Holly attended Simley High School, class of 1997, and Inver Hills Community College, both in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.

She is survived by two beautiful and amazing children, Zachary 21 and Adrianna 16, her parents, Greg and Jody, her sister, Allysa Funes, her nephew Rory Huggett, and her amazing boyfriend and the love of her life, Vincent Mullaney.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Taylor Lynn, her grandparents, Marcella Erickson, Darlyne Funes, and Frank Funes.

Holly touched many people with her kindness, love, huge heart, and her contagious smile. From her son’s Tae Kwon Do families to her daughter’s dance families, she was a friend to many.

She loved her children with all her heart. They were her pride and joy. They will always remind us that she is with us. She worked hard to give them the best she could. Her beauty, love, and compassion will continue to live on through them.

While we are left to grieve her here on earth, she is watching over all of us from heaven above asking us to protect and guide her babies for her until we can all be together again.

Spread your beautiful wings and soar for we love you through and through, yesterday, today, and tomorrow, too.

Chapel services will be held at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada (7400 West Cheyenne Avenue) on March 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will then follow at Los Prados County Club (5150 Los Prados Circle) at 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with light snacks and refreshments.
