On August 25, 2015, the love of my life slipped away. You were a genuine husband and devoted father: the perfect family man and a man who knew what he wanted in life. When we first met and started to date you told me you were going to marry me. I thought this was a bit extreme for just beginning a relationship. Sure enough, you became my husband and we had a son and three daughters whom you cherished. You always gave unconditional love and we were an incredible team. Some people search for a love like ours. We had that forever kind of love. We hugged, kissed, held hands, and lit up each other’s lives every day as if we were a new flame. We never wanted to be a part.
