

Ida “Madea” Eashman Smith, 96, passed away on May 15, 2012; daughter to the late Thomas Sullivan Eashman and Irene Page-Eashman was born on March 19, 1916 in Tallulah Louisiana. She was the eldest and last of four siblings. Ida was married to the late Mose Smith on February 19, 1933 in Tallulah Louisiana. To this union three daughters were born; Dorothy Mae, Bobbie Mae and Irene Virginia. In 2002, she visited The Greater Mt. Sinai Missionary Recruiting Ministries of Las Vegas with her eldest daughter Mother Dorothy Washington under the leadership of Dr. S.S. Rogers, Pastor/Teacher where she called this place her church home and church family. Ida (Madea) leaves to mourn & cherish her beautiful memories five generations; two daughters, fourteen grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren, forty-seven great-great grandchildren and three great great-great grandchildren. Visitation scheduled for May 22, 2012 from 4-7:00pm, services on May 23, 2012 at 11:00am, all at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., Las Vegas, Nevada. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 N.
