IGNACIO PALOMARES Ignacio A. Palomares, known to his friends as "Nacho," went to be with the Lord July 10, 2013/ He was 83. Born in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico. His career of 65 years started in Long Beach, Calif. and the Las Vegas area. He worked at La Flor De Mexico, Union Pacific Railroad, Nellis Air Force Base, Spring Mountain Youth Camp, and was the owner of Nacho's Restaurant. He ended his career and retired with REECO/EGG Services at the Nevada Test Site. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, auto restoration and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his brother, Aurelio. He is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Patricia; sons, Francisco (Juana) and Edward (Cynthia); daughter, Elizabeth Puga (Salvador); five brothers and two sisters in Mexico; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 2-5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, with services following 5-7 p.m., both at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
