Ignacio Acfalle Soriano

He went into a peaceful rest surrounded by family at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ignacio was the beloved husband of 58 years to Flora, a dedicated father of four, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather of eighteen, with one more on the way.

He was born in Malesso' on the beautiful island of Guam on July 6, 1946 to Dolores Acfalle Soriano and Ignacio Meno Soriano.

Ignacio served with the Guam Police Department for 27 years. He was a skilled hunter and lancheru, a proud member of the San Dimas Church Men’s Choir, and was well known on Guam for his sweet tuba. He retired in 1991, then moved to Las Vegas in 1996 with his wife, where he worked as a security officer at Santa Fe Station and later at the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center.

Ignacio was a self-taught guitarist who loved using his strong voice to sing with his wife.

One of his favorite pastimes was bringing his family and friends together by cooking Chamoru food for them. He prayed the rosary every day with his wife, and especially loved to recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Ignacio’s final hour of life was spent attending mass with his family, and he took his final breath right when mass ended.

Visitation will be held at Palm Mortuary - Cheyenne, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129, on July 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at St Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 6350 N Fort Apache Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89149, on July 8, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, on July 8, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
