Wonderful woman. She was one of the most memorable individuals I ever knew.

I miss Irene… she was absolutely beautiful.

Irene Moyle was a wonderful woman. Everyone who knew her misses her...

All of us who worked with Irene in the Nellis AFB chapel deeply valued her spirit, her excellent work, her professionalism, and her friendship.  For some of us that friendship continued into retirement years, including, for us, some connecting in Orlando, FL.    She will always be remembered with great fondness and thanksgiving to God for her life!!

Condolences on the death of Irene. Irene was the battery that lit up the room and was always so sweet. While stationed at Norton AFB many swing shifts riding the launch truck with her and she was always a happy person. Caught up with her on FB a few years ago but just sad today with this news. Irene you were special to a lot of people and you will be missed.  

So sorry to hear of the death of Irene.    While sharing time together at Nellis AFB, I came to appreciate her dedication and hard work at the chapel, but mostly I remember her for the extreme love she had for her family.  In later years when we talked it was evident that that love had grown big enough to envelop  her grandchildren.   She loved talking about them and sharing pictures.
At this time may God's love and comfort be evident in the life of those who grieve her death and may all find comfort in the memories of the life she lived to fullest.

Irene and I were roommates at Norton AFB and had just recently hooked back up on FB.  She was a sweet lady who will truly be missed.  Prayers for her family during this difficult time.  May God comfort and keep you.  

I just did you hair for your trip to Mexico.  I loved our few times while doing your hair.   I will never forget the times at Nellis AFB Chapel when I worked there with you.  The times my daughter babysat for your girls when we were neighbors on base. We lost touch for a while...and then having the blessing of doing your hair and catching up with each other....I will miss you and our chats. Rest in Gods arms my friend.  I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. 

Irene and I worked together for a little over a year at Norton AFB. We both enjoyed our job and each other. We would go out and work the flight line many times together and played Name That Tune with songs on the radio.  She and I were usually right.  I have fond memories of Irene and know she is flying with the angels and the Lord. Although we haven't seen each other in over 35 years I was hoping to catch up with her in the near future.  I love and will miss you Irene.  My condolences to Irene's family and friends.   

To the family of Irene, how shocked and saddened we were to hear of her passing...As a Nellis chaplain from 1995 to 1999,  she rendered superb  service to we chaplains and the chapel program...Spouse Carol and I continued to connect with her when we came to visit our family in Orlando area (including four grandkids).    Former Nellis Chaplain Shane Gaster and wife Ruby were also part of those Orlando reunions. We deeply valued our contacts with her as a truly wonderful person and friend.  We also found joy and took pride in her successes after her AF career.  We join countless people who were enriched by her life.!

Irène was the first employee I hired while with Kohler.  In 15 seconds I knew she was the person to fill the position.  Because this was a new division and things didn’t happen overnight, it took a beat for the vetting process.  Irène wrote me an email that basically stated “Ms. Carter, I’m sorry I wasn’t your 1st pick...”  I immediately wrote her back saying “You’re still in the running!!”

I admired Irène in countless ways.  I appreciated her work ethic, her humor, her love and dedication to her daughters, along with her respect & love for my father.  They had much in common. She was there for me as he declined from cancer.   My father adored Irène and loved conversing with her about engineering and aerospace.

I have many memories I hold near and dear to my heart ... like our dinners, her poker parties, etc.  But, my most hysterical memory (I loved Irene’s laugh) was when we were at some PGA tournament out of state and she said “Let’s work out!”  I said, “Okayyy.”  We went to the hotel gym, she lifted I don’t know how many lbs??  She said “Now you go!” We had to pull off weight after weight until we got just to the bar.  I couldn’t even lift that!! Irène laughed so hard that we couldn’t contain ourselves for our respective reasons.  I laughed more at her amusement than the obvious. 😂

On a serious note, and a lesson to be learned...I’m upset with myself for not being in touch with her as I should have been.  I left NV and went back to CA to care for my Dad.  However, after his passing I allowed new job to keep me from those I loved.  I can’t begin to express how this upsets me.  Don’t wait to let people know how very much they mean to you.  (Thank you Irene for all you were and did for me.  You were one of the best humans ever!!)

My heart goes out to you Michelle, Bre, Jamie and granddaughters.  I think you know it goes without saying what a ROCK your Mom was.  She was GOOD PEOPLE.

My Heart goes out to the girls and family! Irene was a second mother to my first daughter. I knew her through my wife who worked with her at Nellis. She was a great friend and a loving mother. Rest in Peace warrior!
