

Irineo was born in Kawit, Province of Cavite, Philippines to Narciso and Casimira Toledo on June 28, 1948. He married Leonora Jimenez Cruz on March 27, 1966 and was her husband for 55 years.
He was a military veteran and served in the United States Army for 20 years, where he retired in 1992. He also served in Desert Storm. He was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star, Army Lapel Button, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon “2”, Army Commendation Medal with 1st Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and Humanitarian Service Medal. After his honorable discharge, he continued his career working for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Patient Services Assistant and retired in 2008.
Irineo is preceded in death by his father, Narciso Arquiza Toledo; mother, Casimira Ronquillo Toledo; brother, Francisco R. Toledo; sister, Virgie Toledo Pasco; sister, Julia T. Barrientos; sister, Angelina T. Davis; brother, Lenobio R. Toledo; and brother, Eduardo R. Toledo.
Irineo is survived by his wife, Leonora C. Toledo; daughter, Irene T. Calip; daughter, Leilani C. Toledo; daughter, Michelle T. Urata; son, Ernie C. Toledo; grandchildren, Ailina T. Calip, Christian T. Calip, Casie T. Calip, Tazmin T. Urata, Ashlynn T. Urata, Crysta T. Urata, Jewelen J. N. Toledo, Bodhi K. A. Toledo, Sora K. A. Toledo; great grandson, Ari C. T. Wu; brother, Avelino R. Toledo; brother, Rodolfo R. Toledo; brother, Leopoldo R. Toledo; and sister, Adoracion T. Calderon.
Irineo was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed family time and passing on family traditions. He loved singing karaoke and playing a variety of instruments, including the drums, guitar, and ukulele. He enjoyed fishing and had a passion for gardening. He took pride in the fruit trees he planted in his backyard, a place the family called, “The Toledo Park.”
The family of Irineo wishes to extend sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses of UMC for providing great care and compassion during his 23 days in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit; Father Julian of Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church for anointing and praying over him at UMC; Nathan Adelson Hospice for providing a beautiful room where he passed peacefully surrounded by family; and the staff of The Palm Northwest Cemetery & Mortuary for arranging the visitation, Celebration of Life & Catholic Funeral Service, and military honors. The Toledo family also thanks all of the many family, extended family, and friends who reached out to provide love, support, and prayers.
