Jack Dewey Michalek, of North Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 3, 2013. He was born Aug. 22, 1934. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia. Jack is survived by his wife, of 25 years, Judy; children, Michael, Jill, and Sandra; his stepdaughters, Angela Roberts and Lisa Dross; eight grandchildren, Cynthia Wyatt, Stephanie Ryder, Elijah Ryder, Sophia Ryder, Noah Michalek, Charlie Michalek, Joshua Dross, Mitchell Dross and Samantha Dross; and four great-grandchildren, Josiah, Dakota, Jase, and Joshua James. Visitation will be 4-6 Wednesday, Oct. 9. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, both at Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
