We had such a great time this time last year at Myrtle Beach. Love you Sands

Today my heart is full as I remember and honor the life of Jacqueline Jones —
Social Worker extraordinaire, sister in Christ, and a true example of love in action.

When my mother entered hospice in April 2024, Jacqueline stood beside Lisa and me with grace, professionalism, and compassion. She helped us navigate an unfamiliar and painful process with clarity and strength, making sure that every question was answered and every need was met. More than a professional, she became an anchor — someone who carried wisdom, patience, and faith into every moment.

Her care went beyond her role. I will never forget how she personally brought moving boxes to help us transition my mother’s home in Henderson. It wasn’t just a gesture of kindness — it was a reflection of who she was: someone who served others fully, humbly, and with a heart led by God.

Jacqueline embodied love and wisdom personified. She lived her faith in a way that was tangible, reminding all who encountered her that true service is rooted in compassion and dignity. She was a sister in Christ who uplifted others, not only in times of need but also by showing what it means to walk in purpose and truth.

Losing her feels deeply personal, yet I know her legacy continues in the countless lives she touched. She was more than her title — she was a comforter, an advocate, a light.

To Jacqueline: thank you for the countless ways you poured into others, including my family. Your impact will never be forgotten. To her family, friends, and all who knew her, may we carry forward her example of faith, kindness, and unwavering love.

Rest in peace, Jacqueline. Well done, good and faithful servant.

My heart is heavy for Jaqueline’s family and loved ones.
I met Jaqueline in 2018 through Erika Vaughn.
She came into my family’s life after a very sudden loss and she truly was an angel sent from heaven.
I will forever and always hold her near to my heart as her kindness was a gift.
Sending her family and loved ones my sincere condolences.
You are all in my prayers,
Love and light

It was so good to see Jackie at our 40th reunion. We had a great time catching up. I was so saddened to hear about her illness and had been praying 🙏 for her daily.

My sincerest condolences to you, the family of Jackie Jones. Jackie was a coworker but most importantly she was a friend. I met her through work in 2011. Today my heart aches as I remember her at a few of her very good times and definitely at one of her very worst, the passing of her dad. My heart aches at my own selfish thoughts that I will miss her but I know she has gone on to her reward. May she peacefully rest from her labor here on earth. Goodbye my friend, until we meet again.

Jackie, my sister and my forever friend. We have shared so very much over the last 46 years. Thank you for always being there for me and my family. My heart is so very heavy right now. You will forever be missed. There are no words to explain the love and friendship that we shared. I thank you and Mom Rita for all of your love. Sis the morning text and phone calls that we shared will always be with me. My favorite conversation that we had was the day that you called me and told me that you met a man. I was so happy to hear this news. I said Sis what's his name and tell me all about him. You said his name is Jesus!!! To God Be the Glory!!! I know that he was with you on your journey. Now you are safely in his arms. Until we meet again . Love always Sunny

Rest in Paradise. Well done.

Dear Rita and Jeffrey,

Cousin Jackie will be missed. Condolences, I have but only memories of her in St. Albans and see that we both went into Community Care provision showing how we were taught by our Elders to think and act for others.

With Love,
Cousin Mark

My Mother Yvonne Jones Kennedy and Aunt Jackie were college roommates at Rutgers in New Jersey. One of the sweetest people in this world and super funny. Fast forward to me being an adult. Every trip to Vegas I made over the years. I always set time aside to see Aunt Jackie while I was in town. My next Vegas visit will definitely be different. I love you. Definitely going to miss you. Job well done.

My heartfelt condolences to Rita, Jeffrey and the family,
I enjoyed the brief but memorable company of Jackie one evening when visiting her Mom in Las Vegas. She was my tour guide and she left a memorable impression on me. During her illness she provided us all with an example of remarkable courage, endurance and everlasting hope. I was sincerely touched by her intellect and kindness and envied her Mom for having such a phenomenal woman for a daughter.
She is now in God’s eternal care but l am grateful for having crossed paths with her. Rest in peace.
With deepest sympathies!

She was a very loving and sweet soul that always had a zest for life.
We will never forget you!

My condolences to the family praying for your strength in Gods healing ❤️‍🩹 Jackie will be missed 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Sister Jackie Jones was an inspiration to so many including myself and husband Tony! We were the ministers of music at Holy Trinity AME Church, and it was always a pleasure to embrace and embark and converse and worship and praise with Sister Jackie Jones thank God for the opportunity of knowing her and for all the life-changing gratitude and kindness that she shared with The world to God be the glory!

I met Jacqueline when I lived in Las Vegas working in the senior living industry. We became friends and often took the time to meet for lunch at nearby restaurants. She also helped me when I was going through a messy divorce, and moving out of state with a place to stay for a few nights. We lost contact after I moved away but I always will remember her kindness and concern she showed me.

May she rest in eternal peace and know how many lives she touched while on this earth. ❤️‍🩹 She was truly an angel among us, and will be greatly missed by so many.

Sending comfort and healing thoughts to her sweet mother, Rita, who I met a few times over the years.

Cousin Rita and Family. Our prayers, love, and condolences during this time. May God continue to comfort and give us peace. Hug one another from .Kathy & Alan Hunt family.😘❤️❤️

HEY CUZ.....
I might not be there with you, but you're always in my heart.
That feeling will never go away, so from each other we'll never part.
We didn't talk everyday, but we never missed a beat.
We'd pick up the phone and say "hey cuz" and the conversation would be such a treat.
Sometimes we'd talk about our life's journeys and at times it got real deep.
But then there were other light hearty moments which I'll always treasure and keep.
Now the time has come for me to say "hey Cuz, I’ll miss you so".
But I understand all to well why you had to go.
No pain... no meds... no more misery...
Just sunshine, love and happiness in God's Kingdom you'll see .
Say hi to all the others that passed before thee,
And let them know that we're okay, and will continue to be.
Rest well my cousin. You've earned the right.
And for now I'll just say I love you.... good night.

Jackie Jones!!!! My sister in Christ. We had many sessions about our mutual faith, IRON sharpening IRON. Some into the wee hours of the night to the break of dawn! Your heart for truth was a well of deep waters. Will miss our times of prayer, worship and fellowship.

We had a good time with our kin folks chopping it up at Myrtle Beach. Cousin s coming together from all over. An enjoyable time.

Jackie Jones! FULL of style, sass and impeccable taste in clothes and flair! Your sense of style made us skinny girls envy! 😆🤣😂 kept that hair tight and right! Coordinated outfits always on point.

Jackie Jones. My cousin, you are sorely missed! Never failed to call a spade a spade, with humor and laughter. My sister and friend. Distance never matterd with us. East or West coast didn't matter. We remained cousins and friends. No distance in prayer. Forever more.

My Dearest Cousin, Rita & Family,
Our heartfelt condolences and prayers to you during this difficult time.
Jackie and I had never met, but we had planned to remedy this, a couple of summers ago. She and Rita were planning to come to Chattanooga, TN & spend a week @ my home. Unfortunately, Rita had an accident therefore, we never had the opportunity. Although we continued to communicate and share uplifting and encouraging messages, as she fought her battle against her physical circumstances, I felt a close connection.
Rita, throughout our conversations, over the years, your loving relationship with your family, especially Jackie, was foremost center of your life. I know that you will miss her beyond words, but she’s now in good hands with the Master.
May the memories of her life, along with experiences that you shared and the prophetic promises of our Lord, bring you comfort and peace.
With love and unceasing thoughts,
Cousin Sarah & Chattanooga Families
