James Anthony Frasco, 75, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, NV, Northridge, CA, and Peoria, IL passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Jean Frasco.

He is survived by his three daughters and two sons-in-law, Heather Frasco-Apple and husband Jason, Michelle Frasco, and Theresa Frasco-Hammond and husband Ben. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, David Apple, Daniel Apple, Natalie Apple, Joshua Hammond, and Kaylee Hammond as well as his best friend Neli Kelley.

He adored all things family, making celebrating the Christmas holidays together a priority. He loved traveling, to wonderful destinations like Sydney, Australia to visit Teri and her family, Hawaii for relaxing vacations, and cruising (didn’t matter what the destination was). He took Heather’s family on a trip of a lifetime to England to see a Manchester United soccer game. He was always interested in his Italian family heritage, tracing the lineage back to a small village in the mountains outside Rome, to which we visited as a family in the early 1990’s.

He will be forever missed!

Jim came into my life in mid-2015, and the last time I saw him was in mid-2021, when we went to In-N-Out for what else? A burger, 'cause that's what it's all about.

I've never known anyone who loved life and his family and friends like Jim did. He was bigger than life, and lived and loved with gusto! And that smile! And how he loved racing! I was lucky to have known, and cared for, him.

So many memories, and all of them good. I know he will be missed forever, and rightly so. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. You were lucky to have had him for so many years. And now he is where he was meant to be, next to Jean in Heaven. I know he is smiling down on you, his girls, and his beloved grandchildren.

With love,

Leslie Underwood

As my sister has written, Jim Frasco, worked with our father managing his apartment buildings. Jim was sage, calm and utterly dependable—we all admired his business acumen and unflappability. When our parents knew they would be leaving us soon, they wrote out instructions—the first was that Jim Frasco continue to manage the buildings. Once asked by an associate if Jim could be trusted, our father gave his highest accolade—“his word is his bond.” Jim—you were a true gentleman and we’ll always appreciate everything you did for our parents and for us.

We are grateful to have had Jim as a neighbor and friend, since our relocation to Las Vegas. He certainly did enjoy the holidays, and we enjoyed his dedication to his home and lawn decorations as it was a joyful display for all to celebrate. We are eternally thankful for his genuine neighborly goodwill, over the years. We send our sincere condolences to his partner Neli, and his family. With love, Toro Family

My deepest condolences to Jim Frasco's beloved family and partner. Jim was a dear, dear friend to our family. He was my Dad's closest work associate. They spent hours each week on the business of the apartment buildings Jim managed for my Dad. Jim remained a remained an incredible support for me and my siblings. A savvy businessman, he gave us good guidance and advice. Always so kind and calm, gentle and reassuring. I owe so much to him. Jim Frasco will be dearly missed.
