James W. Sims, 81, passed away April 23, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. James was born June 3,1930 in Chicago, Illinois to James Sims & Pauline (Wilson) Sims. James was an Owner/Operator of his own Construction/Management Company. James also was an Air Force Veteran serving his country during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Ann Sims of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Cynthia A. VanSchoiack of Boise, Idaho; son, James K. Sims of Boise, Idaho; son, Daniel W. Sims of Las Vegas, Nevada; and son, Mick Fredrickson of Las Vegas, Nevada; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his parents, James Sims & Pauline Sims. Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Palm Mortuary Cheyenne Chapel, 7400 W. Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada.
