

Jason Valle Caser will be missed by his family and friends. He always put his family first before himself. He was a very hard worker but also enjoyed his life to the fullest. He loved to go bowling, playing video game and eating local Hawaiian food.
Jason was born on April 12, 1977 at Hospital of the Infant Jesus in Manila, Philippines. His parents were Ernesto and Nida Caser. Jason was raised in Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii. He was a compassionate person, a quality that he would carry with him throughout his life. Even at a young age, Jason was sensitive to his parent’s moods and worked hard to please them and live up to their expectations.
Throughout his life, Jason showed a remarkable ability to mend relationships. This was true even with his siblings. Jason was caring, diplomatic and tolerant of the feelings of those around him. Jason was raised with three siblings. He had two younger brothers, Ernest Shane and Marc Ryan, and one younger sister, Cristy Mae. Jason was constantly involved in activities with his brothers and sister. Jason and his siblings had the typical rivalries while growing up, but they cared deeply for one another.
In Jason high school years, he played in Football, Track & Field and his was talented in Plexi-Glass shop class. He graduated from Kauai High School in 1996.
Jason’s love of learning carried over to his college years. He applied himself scholastically, and developed a particular interest in the humanities. Jason graduated from Kauai Community College, earning his degree in Associates in Culinary Arts. Within his college year he won numerous awards in food sculpturing. Also after graduating college he had a chance to further his studies in Culinary Arts in Europe.
However, Jason mostly enjoyed the simple things in life. Even thou he was busy going to school and working part-time he always made time for his family and friends. Sometimes people may view him as a big scary guy but when you get to know him, he is a really nice and caring young man.
Jason was a tranquil person, with an easygoing and open-minded attitude towards life. He presented a pleasant face to the outside world but concealed the pain and discomfort he felt over his own friend’s difficulties. While growing up, some of his best friends Jimbo Jacinto, Jack Munechika, Michael Rodriquez, Brandon Dela Cruz, David Milhand and his brothers and sister. Later in life, he became friends with Sherdon Aquino, John, Dale, Roland, and Steven Villanueva.
Blessed with a strong sense of integrity, Jason was as loyal and committed in his work as he was in the rest of his life. Jason worked well with fellow employees and showed great cooperation in reaching common goals. Though he had a tendency to take on too many tasks, himself; Jason showed great patience with complicated situations. He was most comfortable working on the projects and jobs that he strongly supported. His primary occupation was chef. Jason always tried to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Jason enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were bowling and playing video games. Jason was content to enjoy his hobbies alone but he was also willing to share his interest with others.
Jason passed away on August 28, 2011 at St. Rose San Martin in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jason fought hard in his battle against cancer but always kept a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He is survived by his parents Ernesto and Nida Caser, and his siblings Ernest, Marc and Cristy Caser and his grandmother Illuminada Valle.
Jason Valle Caser was someone who was able to see the world as a good and honorable place. He viewed the people who inhabited it as essentially good. A person who tended to see the world in terms of black and white, Jason tried to focus on the good he saw, knowing that there were times he would have to compromise. He was selfless and deeply committed to all things positive and good. Jason was a person who would keep his eye on tomorrow and constantly held onto his dreams. It was the exceptional insight and quiet reserves that become Jason’s trademark qualities for all who knew him and it was one of the many reasons why all who knew him loved Jason Valle Caser.
