Jeffrey Whitley, age 51, of North Las Vegas, passed away Friday, June 19 at Valley Hospital, due to complications from diabetes. Jeff was born on October 7, 1963 to Noma (Green) and Wade Whitley (who both preceded him in death), in Copperhill, TN. His memory is survived by his wife, Nicole, of North Las Vegas, siblings, Wendell, Frances, and David, all of the north Georgia area, in-laws Craig and Char Falkner of North Las Vegas brother -in-law and sister-in-law Eric and Megan Falkner and six nephews and nieces. Jeff also leaves behind his closest friend, Sundi Lawrence, of Gainesville, GA, and his beloved dog George. In honor of his generous spirit and caring heart for animals, the family asks that donations be made to your local SPCA in Jeff’s memory. We know that many of our furry friends, like Otis, Rebel, and Sugar were happily waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge. Jeff’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Advent United Methodist Church, 3460 N. Rancho Drive, Las Vegas.
