60 of Salt Lake City, passed away on March 23, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV of cancer. He was born November 11, 1953 in Salt Lake City, UT to John “Jack” Crawford and Mary D. Stewart Wright. Jeff was a longtime resident of Salt Lake and a graduate of Judge Memorial High School and University of Utah. He served 8 years in the U.S. Army. On July 16, 1983, he married Holly Huntsman in Salt Lake City, UT. Jeff was a police officer with South Salt Lake City Police Department, Utah Narcotics and Liquor Law Enforcement (UNLEB) and an investigator with the Utah Attorney General's Office. Jeff retired in 2004 and was a private investigator at the time of his death. Jeff was a polygraph examiner, POST instructor and a certified PADI diving instructor. Jeff was a devout member of the Catholic Church in Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his parents, Jeff is survived by wife; siblings Robert (Jacqueline) Wright, La Quinta, CA; and Michael Ann Wright, Ft Worth, Tx; sister-and-brother-in-law Nori Huntsman and William Hunter Finch; beloved pets Romulus, Kaya and Kiska. Funeral services are pending at this time.
