Jennifer Arleen Hightower

Jennifer Arleen Price Hightower, daughter of Bishop John and Rena-Mae Price, was born on March 6, 1962 in Tabor city North Carolina. Surrounded by her loving husband and sons, she departed this life on Saturday October 31, 2020 at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Las Vegas NV.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was baptized by the late reverend E.C Cannon at Cannon’s Cathedral COGIC, Charlotte NC.

Jennifer was educated in Charlotte Mecklenburg County public school system. She later joined the Air Force as a Medical Service Specialist. She was stationed at Keesler AFB and RAF Lakenheath, England where she met her husband Robert. She left the military after 4 years and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 8 years before deciding to pursue her passion in accounting. She received her Associates Degree as a Microcomputer Operator at Rutledge College, NC and later completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Accounting with Honors from the University of Phoenix at the Las Vegas Nevada campus. She held multiple positions within the Clark County Treasurer’s Office, working her way up to a Financial Office Specialist before she passed.

Jenn was very kind hearted, mindful of others, an incredible wife, and a loving mother. She was dedicated in all her ventures; she was known to be the first person through the door and the last one to leave. Although she was quiet, her expression often times revealed her inner passion and concerns. Her taste for music, traveling and photography led her to many wonders of the world. She expected nothing from anyone but always managed to have a smile, card, flowers or gift for those in their time of need.

So in remembrance of her, as tomorrow is not promised today, make time for your family and friends before they go away.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, a loving husband: Robert Hightower Jr., two sons: Trevis Hightower of Beale AFB California, and Dalvin Hightower of Hurlburt Field AFB Florida; two brothers: Elder John (Juanita) Price Sr., Jimmy (Donna) Price, and a sister: Melissa Price all of North Carolina; father in law: The late Robert Hightower Sr., mother in law Leteria Hightower, three sisters in law: Alzena (Floyd) Eutsey, Orpah Hightower and Roselyn (Dr. Ron) Myers, and a brother in law: Rubin Hightower all of Miami, Florida; devoted friends Angelena (Mark) Yulee-Smith of Midwest Oklahoma, Sherry (William) Mason of Las Vegas Nevada and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
