

Jerry Ralph Fandel, age 55, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born July 10, 1961 in La Mesa, California to Thomas Arthur and Sue Ann Foster Fandel. On September 29, 1984 he married Lori Dee Eaton in Paradise, California. Although separated, they remain close friends. He was currently living with his companion Mary Melissa Holmes. Jerry lived most of his life in California. He grew up in Paradise and Orland, then raised his family in Vacaville before moving to Las Vegas in 2000. He loved his work as a Paramedic and working at AMR. He enjoyed participating in renaissance fairs, reading, music and video games. Survivors include his companion, Melissa Holmes of Las Vegas; four daughters: Stephanie (Brian) of Las Vegas, Kimberly of NY; Molly of Phoenix, AZ; Grace of Las Vegas; three step children: Jeremiah (Page) Logan of Cedar Rapids, IA; Rebekah Penkoff of Cheyenne, WY; Jessica Dickson (Tillman) of FL; one granddaughter, Luna and his mother, Sue Fandel of OH. Memorial services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones, Las Vegas, 89131. A reception will follow from 3-5pm, also at Palm Northwest Mortuary.
