A treasure to be missed. Twice my life was graced with meeting Jessi. Once as a 5 year old and then a couple years ago at home with Cindy and Danny. God has welcomed her with open arms.

I had the pleasure of meeting beautiful Jessie at her moms home in Vegas. Cindy had us all over for a b-b-q...It was such an honor to meet Jess, and have some laughs. She was a bright and shining light of joy. I will always cherish that night. I will keep her in my heart forever. Cindy you raised a true angel. R.I.P. sweet one...and we will meet again one day. I'll never forget leaving all the time in high school for lunch or just sitting on the couch across the room from each other coming up with completely ridiculous inside jokes and hand gestures that I'm pretty sure even WE didn't understand. Tapping you nose twice and pointing, Folklife adventures, rollercoasters, T-Rex, Pat Benatar, Caucasian Asian... The list goes on. I knew no matter how much time had passed or how long it had been since we talked it was like nothing ever changed. Jessi was honestly the most beautiful person both inside and out and to say she was one in a million would be an understatement. Love always and forever.

Oh poppet. What I wouldn't give to kiss your faces one last time. I sit back in awe when I hear the stories from all the different people you touched in your life. In awe over the magnitude that you were able to extend your being far more than the limitations of the rest of us. Even in your absence look at all you've done, I see more of us now talking deeper about not only you but each other than we ever have. You taught us not to take anyone or anything for granted. At first that made me angry, why would you need to go for such a lesson to be taught, but then again who better to show us that. You glued so many different walks of life together through your friendship. Now the burden of time becomes a weight on our shoulders, for I hope it's only an instant until you see us again, but for us it'll feel like an eternity I'm sure. I loved you, and you knew that and just know I take a deep breath at the end of each day knowing, "another one down, another one gone until I get to hold you again." Go now, there's stars wanting to be entertained.

I remember the first time I met Jessi. Her vibrant and genuine personality immediately stood out to me. I watched as over the years her personality continued to shine and brighten the lives of those around her. Her humor, authenticity,  and love for life will not be forgotten. Jessi has made me laugh until I cried and has danced with me until I fell over in exhaustion.  While Jessi is physically no longer with us, her spirit carries on in the hearts of those she has touched. Thank you, Jessi, for touching mine!

I remember when Jessi and I would talk about our dreams regarding acting. Seven years ago, we both wanted to move down to California and enter the world of entertainment. Almost every time we hung out, we would speculate on our futures, and where we would be in 10 years. It saddens me to think about what could have been if she were to continue on the path to an acting career. She was so talented; motivated; and dedicated to her dreams; her death has caused much reflection in my life. Be there for your friends; call your friends; hang out with your friends; because life can stop at any moment, like what happened to Jessica. My heart may be broken, but I know that she is forever separated from this mortal  world of despair and chaos, which gives me a sense of comfort. I will always love you Jessi.

Jessi you are a beautiful soul and spirit. I love you, will always think of you warmly, and I hope that you are laughing, wherever you are. That sweet, goofy laugh of yours. 

I always hoped we'd share the stage again someday.

I didn't know Jessi as well as other people knew her. She was close friends with my roommate in college, and over the years I spent with Alex, I got to know Jessi. Everytime she came up to visit Alex, we had an adventure. She and her family invited us to stay with her in Las Vegas while we were driving around the country. Vegas isn't exactly my kind of town, but with Jessi it was awesome. Her energy, confidence, sarcasm and wit made her an incredible person to be around.

Jessi Jaymes, you will forever be the coolest chick I've ever known. We had so much fun in high school; I admired your sense of humor and tomboy style that complimented your timeless soft beauty. I found your Fraggle Rock beer cozy in my kitchen the other day and smiled. We partied and laughed together and that's what I cherish. Your light and energy live on.

I will always remember how much of an authentically friendly, hilarious and kind person Jessi was. We had several classes together in high school, including an art class which she excelled at, being the true artist she was. Talented and beautiful, I know she's continuing to make a positive impact in people's lives through the memories she's left behind. Thank you, Jessi, for making the world a better place.

Jessi was such a big part of my life i didn't have many friends going into high school so she was one of my first great friends.....but she was much more then that she was the smile i could always count on, she was the mood changer when everyone else was down, she was and will be always in my thoughts! Anytime I am down I will think back at her infectious smile and upbeat attitude on life and remember WWJD (what would jessi do) and she will guide me to a better life. Thank you Jessi Jaymes for allowing me to be a part of your life!

Jessi was a best friend of mine in high school and I to this day have always considered her a best friend. There are no words to describe the friendship between myself, Jessi, Brigitte Guerra and Brittany Leimbach. We were sisters in high school and we all kept each others heads up through thick and thin. Jessi was never afraid. That is the one thing about her that shines so bright in my mind thinking about her. Jessi you give me the strength to take strides in my life I didn't think I could take at this moment. The energy Jessi created for adventure was contagious. I will live each day with you in thought Jessi and I will never forget the thrive you had for excitement and laughter. Rest in Peace sister. I will see you again.

Knowing my Jessi Bug for only a few short years,when she attended Meadowdale,met my son Aaron and grew into our family.  She was the daughter I wish I could keep. Her and Aaron were two clowns when together, constant laughter,hanging out,including me with their joy. She knew Ii was a little querkie like she, so I was lucky to a big part in her life. Jessi you'll always shine down on me when I'm wearing my Vans with all the hearts on them that you gave me on Valentines Day. It is impossible for me to list every memory i have with you. I have no idea where to even begin. Endless memories play over and over again in my head and they dont stop. I think of you all day and I dream about you Jessi, you are on my mind 24/7 and my heart is weighing heavily. I want you to know that you are the only friend who PUSHED and supported me with my bright future. Yes, others were happy for me ... but you always ALWAYS knew there was something big out there .... and you were the only one who gave me such confidence to go out into this world without fear. I always had so many people comment on how " I LEFT THEM TO GO TO CALI" but you  always supported me. and you recently reassured me of how much of a good friend you were to me. This last time I saw you was one of my favorite nights ever. we both concluded that our bond and connection was irreplasable ... and that" you will always be jessi and I will always be Brigg" and that no time or distance would change that. I am so thankful for everything we talked about....I  will forever carry that conversation in my heart. Jessi was my best friend, but she was far more than just that, she was my personal comedian, my personal confidante, my personal chef and master of strange cuisine, my jukebox, my late night rescue line-when I was lonely or in need of support, and she was the most intense and longest lasting female relationship, I've had in all my life. Over the last decade  my heart has experienced all the emotions that I thought were possible... and more. She was someone who truly captivated every room she walked into and once you met her, you would surely never forget her beautiful smile, her biting wit or confident poise. She was a Renaissance Woman, she had a divine talent for picking up and excelling at everything she attempted in life. I will miss you my "Best Dude fo' Life", we always joked that someday if we got older and both settled down we'd get married as best friends and never live a dull day without one another. I miss you with every fiber of my being. I still feel you with all my senses and you will live on in my words, my deeds and my heart as long as I live. I love you forever my sweet Jess. XOXOX

I knew Jessi for a short period when I was going through a very difficult part of my life. She helped me more than I was ever able to tell her. And even though I have not talked to her in years I can still remember the laughter her and I had. I am greatly saddened for not just her passing but for her close friends and family that will no longer share in life with her. My condolences.

I was extremely sad to hear about Jessi. She was one of my daughters, Rachel, best friends. I had taken an acting class and she and I would go into steady improv when she came to my house. We had so much fun. I truly miss her and feel the heartfelt sadness. As a mother, I cannot imagine your pain. Be strong for her.

I'm at a loss for words. As a mother, I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. As a friend, I pray that you will hurt a little less each day.

I want to thank you all for blessing us with Jessi. We met in theatre classes, but every time we met again it was just like reuniting with a long lost friend. Silly enough, working with her pretending to be farm animals in Charlotte's Web was some of the most fun I have had on stage, mostly because of her. You have all of our love and condolences. Now she is always a part of our cast and stage crew...

Mother to mother...I can't imagine your grief.  Know that Jess captured a piece of my heart the moment she walked into our house and lives.  She was a super nova in this life.  We will never be the same having loved her and known her.  We will keep her spirit with us and hopefully live up to what she would want us to be and do.  I sent my love to all of you. Cindy, I am still in disbelief that Jessi is gone... she is one in a million! No one is as amazing as Jessi <3 My heart aches for you and your loss. All of Jessi's friends here in Washington love and miss her so very much. Jessi was good friends with my son Brandon Norton, and the love she shared with us after he died was priceless. When Jessi came up to Seattle, a group of us went to see Classic Crime in concert, and I remember Jessi telling me when they were playing her favorite song that she and my son both loved, she sang it with tears streaming down her cheeks... I will never forget that moment she and I shared! The world has lost yet another angelic women way too soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers Cindy as you go through the motions of your days. Know that Jessi is an amazing daughter & friend and she's loved by so very many! <3

I had the good fortune to serve as Jessi's acting teacher and director and to witness the growing power she had as a young actress, which was an uncanny knack to simply exist onstage, as a real human being; the audience fully believed her characters were real people. She was marvelously unaffected in her work in college productions of Two Rooms, The Taming of the Shrew, Charlotte's Web, Anna in the Tropics and Ah, Wilderness! Jessi inspired many souls with her art and will be dearly missed in our lives.

Word of your loss has reached Seattle and we mourn with you. I was the technical director for  Edmonds C.C.'s Drama program.  Jessi took several of my classes and of course was in many of our productions. 

I am so sad to hear that she is gone. I had a lot of fun with her over the years at the college. Most memorable will be the time I filled in for another actor during a dress rehearsal of "Ahh Wilderness". It became a bit of a tradition that I would surprise fill in for missing actors at dress rehearsals. She knew the actor (who was from France) was missing and thought we would skip the scene. I came out instead (doing a bad French accent) and she kept going like a pro. It was a fun moment that we laughed about for a long time afterward.

My Dearest Cindy, no one will ever truly know how much you love Jessi, but Jessi. For she is the only one that knows your heart from the inside. She was in our lives for a little while but she will forever be in our hearts. I know today that it is painfully difficult to see beyond your sorrow, but I pray that looking back in memory will help comfort you in time.  All my love....

Jessi was two years old when I went to work for her mother Cindy Potter.  Over the years Cindy would bring Jessi in to the office and I got to know her, she was a beautiful person.  She enjoyed drawing me a picture on her visits and I enjoyed talking with her, she was such a sweet person, just like her mother.  My heart is full of sorrow for the loss of Jessi and I am heartbroken for Cindy and her family.  I love you Cindy, May God be with you at this time of your loss.
