Jesus Bernal Lewis

Jesus B. Lewis (Jesse), 71, passed away June 26, 2017, due to complications from cancer. He was born July 19, 1945, in Parral, Chihuahua, moving with his family to El Paso, TX in 1955. Jesse was a hard-working, strong, loving husband and father with a keen sense of humor. He was tough but generous and was always there if you ever needed him, even if that meant handing you the shirt off his back. He will be missed and always loved. Jesse is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Enriqueta and Hale Lewis and his brother, Rodolfo Bernal. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Angela Lewis, and four children, Richard (Susie) Lewis, Ruby (Sonny) Vigil, Jo-Anne (John) Hilverding, and Jesse (Annette) Lewis; siblings Hermelinda Rodriguez, Gilbert Bernal, and Luz Gallegos; ten grandchildren, Janene Lewis, Evan Lewis, Sianna Lewis, Matthew Padila, Vincent Vigil, Alexander Sanchez, Andrea (Steve) Durbin, Ilianna Aguilar and Gianna Ulloa; and great-grandchildren, Brayden & Graysen Durbin. Viewing is Friday, June 30th from 4:00-8:00 p.m., and Chapel service Saturday, July 1st from 5:00-6:00 p.m., both at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV.
