At age 18 he joined the Army and was stationed in Korea, Japan and Hawaii. After serving he moved to Los Angeles California where he met his loving wife Anne. They were married for 57 years and have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
Jimmie was always a very hard worker. He worked as a mover for Bekins for many years. He always had a very caring and generous heart. Always there to help someone who needed it. He once took a knife in the shoulder trying to save someone. He also once saved a little girl who was hit by a car by pulling the vehicle off of her with his bare hands.
He is survived by his wife Anne, children Elaine, Bob, Ron, Jeanne and seven grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 8am on Friday August 28th 2020 at Veterans Memorial in Boulder Nevada.
