Joan Dorothy Wickman

Joan spent a majority of her young life in New York where she went to Catholic School. She worked at Planters Peanut Factory with her sister Ellen before meeting the love of her life, Robert Wickman. She had a total of 3 children. While her husband was in the Navy she lived with her family in New York. Joan and her husband traveled across the United States while in the military. They retired and settled in Las Vegas, Nevada. She lived in Las Vegas since 1964. Joan worked at Caesars Palace, Faith Lutheran High School (where her daughter attended) after she retired from school she worked various candy stores in Las Vegas.

She took care of her 3 grandchildren.

Joan is survived by her two daughters Mary Wickman, Barbara Durazzo (husband Michael), Grandson Steven Wickman (wife Tiffany), Granddaughter Alyssa Durazzo and Grandson Nicholas Durazzo, Great Granddaughter Melaney Wickman and Great Grandson Nolan Wickman also many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Wickman and Son Robert R Wickman.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 12th, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am. Funeral Service will be Thursday August 12th, 2021 from 11:00am to 12:00pm both held at Palm Mortuary 1600 S Jones Blvd.
