John William Vernon Beck, 74, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on April 11, 2020. John was born in San Bernardino, California to his parents, Ray William and Edna Beck. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad as an engineer for 11 years. He then became an Industrial Electrician to finish out his career. In 1986 he relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. John was married to Denine Latchkowski. In his spare time, he could be found working on cars. He loved Chevy Corvettes and was a member of the Corvette Club in Bakersfield, California. John was preceded in death by his wife, Denine, his parents and his brothers, Bud and Warren Beck. John is survived by his son, Sean Beck (Mihoko); his grandson, Austin Beck; his stepson David “Sig” Latchkowski; his brothers, Larry and Carl Beck. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
