John Harrington passed away peacefully November 16, 2018 at the age of 80. John was born April 12, 1938, and he had been a resident of Nevada for many years. He was a telecommunication supervisor for Sprint where he met Karole and married her December 18, 1987. John enjoyed watching all sports with his favorite teams at the top of the list, the Las Vegas Golden Knights, Seattle Sea Hawks, and the Los Angeles Lakers. He also enjoyed collecting Mr. Peanut memorabilia, collecting over 100 cookie jars with Karole, and last but not least, cooking and eating a variety of food with country chicken fried steak as his favorite dish. John Harrington shared himself freely, and family and friends will remember John for his strength and his love for God and God’s people. He will be truly missed. John was preceded in death by his parents, Jennings and Pearl Harrington, stepfather, John Sinanian; and his brother, Paul Harrington. He is survived by his wife, Karole Harrington; five children, John, Tracy, Heather, Layne and stepdaughter, Kim; nine grandchildren, Gabriel, Steve, Kara, Kevin, Christina, Jacqueline, Kristy, and Katy; thirty great grandchildren; brother, Christopher (Pam); sister, Yvette; in-laws, Lisa and Sharon (Paul); and extended family members.
