John retired from the USAF in February 1997 after serving his country faithfully for 20 years.
He spent the last 13 years working for Clark County McCarran Airport as a ramp controller.
John is survived by his son John W. Lere, Jr., one grandson, John III, three brothers, Jim, Paul and Bill, and his father Carl “Bud” Lere. He is preceded in death by his mother Winnie.
John enjoyed spending time with his many friends, golfing, riding his Harley and being with Johnny his grandson “Johnny III”.
In his short 58 years John was loved by everyone he met and would help anyone in need.
John, you will be deeply missed.
