John (Jas) passed away suddenly in Las Vegas, NV. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ and raised in the Old Bridge section of Sayreville, NJ. He graduated from SWMHS in 1980. He served in the US Navy from 1980 to 1986. He graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Computer Science/Mathematics minor. He worked in the Education and Service Fields. He was an avid chess player, numismatist, philatelist and lifelong comic book enthusiast. He is predeceased by his parents John and Veronica Sobiranski. He is survived by his brother Edward Sobiranski, his sister Stephanie Quigley and brother-in-law Philip Quigley. Two nieces, Alexandria and Erica. And his dearest friends Gloria, Pamela and Alice. Private family services were held on March 9. John will be laid to rest at the Southern NV Veterans Memorial Cemetery on April 2.
