Joselyne was born on November 25, 2000 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the daughter of Oscar Flores and Adilia Hernandez. Joselyne grew up in Las Vegas. Joselyne was raised with two siblings. She had two older brothers, Edwin and Humberto Flores. Joselyne was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences together. As a young girl, Joselyne had a number of interests. Like most children, she enjoyed playing and making up games. She was curious about the world around her and was often eager to explore it. Joselyne was an active child who took part in soccer, swimming and bicycling. In her spare time she liked playing with her nieces, drawing and coloring. However, to Joselyne, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with her friends. Always considered a good friend to those she knew, Joselyne enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during her too-short lifetime. While growing up, some of her best friends were Courtney Zurzolo, Leslie Ariga and Yesenia Mendoza. Later in life, she became friends with Jessie Navarro, Jasmine Ocegueda and Adamary Vallejo. Joselyne’s faith was important to her. She was a member of Iglesia de Dios (Christian). Joselyne enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for her to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included Nicaragua and El Salvador. Joselyne was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of her favorites was Simba, a Labrador and Baby. They were best friends for 2 years. Her family was rounded out by her birds, fish and her last dog "Baby". Joselyne passed away on January 22, 2013 at Sunrise Hospital. She is survived by her parents, two brothers and two nieces. Services were held at Iglesia de Dios. Joselyne was laid to rest in Palm Mortuary. Simply stated, Joselyne was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Joselyne leaves behind her a legacy of strong friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Joselyne Raquel Flores.
