Joe began his business and gambling career at the Golden Nugget as a craps dealer in 1955 and soon became an executive at the Nevada Club next door where they added a gambling pit. In 1963 Joe built and operated a nightclub called Guys and Dolls which catered to the cast of the Dunes Hotel. Three years later he leased and operated the original Castaways Casino which is now the Mirage across the street from the Sands Hotel which is now the Venetian. Joe finished his journey being what he loved best- a craps dealer- at the Desert Inn for the next 25 years, retiring in 1992. He is survived by his son, John, daughter Sybrina, daughter-in law Cristina, and grandchildren Joseph and Sofia, sister Joanne, nieces Georgianne and Missy and nephew Joey. Per Joseph's request, no services are scheduled.
