

An expressive, optimistic, and uninhibited individual, he was a performer in the theater of life. To everyone around him, he seemed to be eternally happy, and he willingly shared that joy with anyone whose life he touched. For Juan, bringing out the best in any situation was as easy as offering a smile, a witty remark or the twinkle of an eye. And with just those simple gestures, he could evoke the most pleasant of emotions. Juan really mastered the art of living and had great fun in doing so.
Juan passed away on March 12, 2012 at Las Vegas, Nevada. Juan fought a brave battle against lung cancer. He is survived by his wife Amelia Quiroz, his children, Juan M., Fernando R., Jose J., Jose A. And all of his grandchildren;. Services were held at St. Frances de Sales. Juan was laid to rest in Palm Northwest Mortuary.
Juan Macias was a very humble and kind person. Hew was hardworking and enjoyed spending time tending to his farm. He will always be remembered as a kind, warm man who loved his family. Juan was an honest man who never angered or held a grudge. Above all else, he liked spending time with his family. He will be missed greatly.
