Julene D. Hokanson, 84, a loving homemaker of Las Vegas, passed away May 24, 2014. She was born July 28, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah and had been a resident of Nevada since 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, her devoted husband of 63 years, G. Kent Hokanson; daughter, Vickie Miller; son, Andrew Hokanson; and brother, Morgan Whitecar. Julene is survived by her son, Virgil (Marie) Hokanson; grandchildren, Theresa Mossey (Kenneth), Brian Fildes (Robin), Kathy Fildes, Jennifer Hokanson, Scott Hokanson (Sandy) and Sean Hokanson; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great great –grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd from 10am to 12pm and the funeral service will began at 12pm, at Palm Mortuary- Downtown, 1325 N. Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
