

June was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and 'someone special'.
To family and friends who knew her best, June will be remembered as a, 'very exceptional person'.
June enjoyed her college years, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics responsibilities, and the 'sudden freedom' that accompanied them. June was able to manage the balancing act.
She earned a Registered Nurse degree at Holy Cross Central School of Nursing Notre Dame, Indiana. Upon graduation, June earned the highest award- The Florence Nightingale Award. She also pursued graduate school, earning her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from California State in LA.
Fortunately, June enjoyed what she did for a living. June had a strong work ethic and worked diligently and succeeded in her career. Her primary occupation was a Registered Nurse. June was the, Director of St.Lukes Hospital, in Pasadena, CA. She was the Director of Nursing at Glendale Adventist Hospital in Glendale, CA. June always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary, in order to get the job done. She was a consummate professional.
June enjoyed, leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. She loved baking, knitting and reading.She was well known for her, "Apple Cakes" and they were sought after, at the Church fundraisers. She also, knitted items that were an addition, to the Church fundraising events. She loved to read and belonged to many Book Clubs. She loved being of help. She loved helping those in need by giving food and staples. Her devotion to these causes were tremendous.
June was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone. However, June was always willing to share her interests with others.
June’s faith was important to her. Before moving from Altadena, CA, she was a member for many years with the, Altar and Rosary Programs at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. June became active in the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church for many years, when she relocated to Las Vegas. During that time, she joined, the Lay Program of the Carmelite Order of Nuns. She volunteered many, many hours and was committed to whatever tasked, she was ask to do, at church. A very devoted saint.
Simply stated, June was a good and kind person. June will forever be remembered, by her family and friends, as being a caring, helpful, reliable and a giving person. June was a 'vital part' of their lives.
June leaves behind a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories.
Everyone, whose life she touched will never forget, 'June Ann Davidson' and the impact of her contributions and spirit!
A memorial service for June will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89129, followed by a reception from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
