

Lewis. She passed away peacefully January 13, 2021. Shortly upon graduation from Sandusky High School
in 1967, she relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Karen’s move to LV was prompted by a good friend, the late Mary Louise Hayes. Upon her arrival she
acquired an extended family and more friends which included the love of her life Nathaniel Barlow. Their
daughter Nicole Danyel was born from that union.
Karen began an extensive career in the hotel industry then acquired a position with Clark Co School Dist.
retiring in 2020 she was a fun loving and generous person. Anyone who met her understood she cared by
her soft touches and spoken sentiments.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Gladys Lewis, daughter Nicole Lewis, sister
Jeanette Anthony, brother Charles F. Lewis Jr, nephew Derek Anthony. Surviving and forever cherishing her
memory are husband Nathaniel Barlow, sisters Irene Lewis, Sandusky, Ohio and Darlene (Walter, Jr) Logan, Radnor, Pennsylvania; brother Stephen L. Lewis, Sandusky, Ohio, nephews Corey (Barbie) Lewis,
Sandusky, Ohio and Marc (Anna) Logan Los Angeles, CA; special Uncle Clarence (Sonny) Crabb, Sandusky, Ohio, goddaughter DaWanda Thomas, Las Vegas, Nevada; and host of relatives and friends.
