Katayoun Azarpour

Kathy was born on March 21, 1963, in Tehran, Iran, to Seyedeh Maryam Azarpour and Parviz Azarpour. She spent her early years in Iran before moving to Eastbourne, England, at the age of 16 to continue her education. She later attended David Game College in London before moving to the United States to be with her family, eventually settling in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she continued her studies at the College of Southern Nevada. Kathy went on to work as a Family Services Specialist with the State of Nevada’s welfare division, a role she held for the past five years.

Kathy was a devoted daughter, mother, aunt, great-aunt, and friend whose love for her family was at the center of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her daughter, brother, nieces, great-nephew, and the many family members and friends who loved her dearly. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary – Northwest, 6701 North Jones Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A funeral service, officiated by Jeff Long, will follow at the same location from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Kathy’s memory will live on in the hearts of the family and friends she loved so deeply and in the many lives she touched.
