Katheryn Ann Brannen

Born February 22, 1953 to Lyle and Betty Johnson, Kathy spent her earliest years growing up in Bakersfield, California, alongside her younger brothers, Dan and Curt.

In 1973, Kathy married her husband of 52 years, Raymond, and moved with him to Stockton, California while he finished his degree. After moving to Southern California, first in Santa Paula and then Ventura, Kathy and Raymond welcomed two daughters (Tiffany and Christie), followed by two sons (Kent and Kirt). In 1994, Kathy moved with her family to Las Vegas, where she continued to raise her family and would remain for the rest of her life.

As her children grew to adulthood and began to build their own families, Kathy was thrilled to become a grandmother to first Emily, and later Ava, Mia and Genevieve.

Services celebrating Kathy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 11:00am, at Mountain View Presbyterian Church in Las Vegas.
