Kathleen Margaret Gonzales

Kathie is proceeded in death by her parents Robert and Thelma Reardon, and her brother Charles Reardon. Kathie is survived by her two sons, Scott Gonzales and his wife Kelly of Manvel, Texas; Justin Gonzales, of Sacramento, California; step-children Brenda and Daniel Gonzales of Santa Maria, California; brother Robert J. Reardon Jr. and his wife Virginia of Putnam, Connecticut, brother Kevin Reardon of Framingham, Massachusetts; sister Valerie Davitt and husband Tom of Framingham, Massachusetts; sister Lisa Mackenzie-Seward and her husband Jay of Peachland, North Carolina; former spouse and life-long friend Daniel Gonzales; and grandchildren Addyson and Dylan Gonzales, and Alex and Rhiannon Chase.

Kathie was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on January 3, 1950. She graduated from Framingham North High School in Framingham, Massachusetts in 1968, where she was known as a congenial member of the pep squad, and always looking for her next adventure. She spent her adult life in Massachusetts, California, Nevada, and Texas, making new friends every chance she had. She loved the beaches of Cape Cod, the western U.S. mountain ranges, and anything Disney had to offer, visiting Disneyland and Disney World multiple times.

Faith was also a large part of Kathie’s life. She was a member of numerous nondenominational and Pentecostal churches. When she was younger, Kathie enjoyed competitive ballroom dancing. She sought out music at every stage of her life, succumbing to Beatlemania at an early age, and attending concerts with friends and family throughout her lifetime. In her later years, Kathie became an avid quilter, spending time with the Brown Baggers at numerous quilt retreats. Kathie’s passion was spending time with her friends and family. She was always prepared to entertain, and enjoyed making others happy for any reason, or no reason at all.

Throughout life, she worked as an executive administrator for numerous law firms financial and institutions, most recently for Citizens Bank in Boston. She moved back to Las Vegas in January 2022.

Kathie’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Linda Clark, Kathy Reilly, and Bonnie Cunningham. You truly made her life better by being her friend, and she always spoke of you like you were family.
