RIP my beautiful Kathi Hertzel. You are one of the greatest gifts to me and to the world. Heart of gold, so beautiful inside and out. You will be sorely missed by so many and especially by me. The Emerson Gang Dianne, Karen, Rick and the Hertzel Crew Kathi & Debbi visiting at Mt Charleston camp. 

The Hertzels and the Emersons moved into the neighborhood on the same day in 1968,  but our Bekins moving van arrived 1st,  so the Emerson Gang was there longer than the  Hertzel Crew!

 We kids spent many years riding bikes, crashing bikes on "the hills", riding up to Sunrise Mtn, popping wheelies, fighting over stingray bikes with neighborhood kids, and stealing parts to build better bikes!

 We all matured and went our separate ways. Recently we hooked up with Kathi and Debbi when they visited during my camping trip at Mt Charleston.  Also Kathi, Patsy, and Cindy joined me in kickboxing sessions at the park!  

It was great to see Kathi after all these years, she had not changed a bit, still her feisty self ever since she was 7 years old! She will be dearly missed.

My Dear Friend Kathi,
You are a beautiful person inside and out.  I will always cherish our friendship and all the fun times we had together.  I want you to know that you have always been a great friend to me.  I love you soooo very much!!!  Rest peacefully my friend; My Hertzie.
