Kathy was incredibly friendly and always reached out to welcome newcomers to the church. In addition, she always visited sisters when they didn’t have family in the area. Some sisters were in their dying hours and often didn’t even recognize Kathy - but she didn’t want them to be alone.....
Kathy had the East Coast spark and wasn’t a push over. It easily came out when something unfair was coming out in a transaction or confrontation. You would benefit from being on her side.
Kathy served as a volunteered ordinance worker at our Mormon temple. It was her love. She bought a copy of a picture of Jesus Christ that was in the temple which she hung in her front room. She would talk and thank Jesus daily.
She loved loved loved Colleen and her boys. She claimed those boys as her own grandsons without a doubt.
