Keith H Quirk

1936-2022

Keith was born in Chicago to Harold and Mildred Quirk. He had one brother, Allen. He grew up in Elmhurst, Il. He earned a bachelors degree from the University of Dubuque, masters degree from Northern Illinois University and a doctorate from George Peabody College. His entire career was as an educator, mainly in special education. He retired from the Eldora Training School.

Keith and Bev were married in 1958. They had two daughters - Peggy and Cheryl. Keiths interests were reading, camping, gardening, biking, walking, bird watching, Boy Scouts, Optomist International, church activities, traveling and model railroading.

He is survived by Bev, Peggy (Pat) Thiele, Cheryl (Al) Cross, 5 grandchildren - Dale (Sarah) Cross, Jessica Cross, Matthew Thiele (Heidi May), Tamara (Josh) Fikentscher, Kevin (Ashley) Thiele and 10 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Keith will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 6670 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada 89109.
