Kenneth C. Hou, age 96, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025. Born on April 22, 1929, in Wuxi, China.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Kenneth lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service. He is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine Hou; his son, Howard Hou; and his daughter and son-in-law, Salina and Weklen Yee. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Anna, Marissa, and Natalie Yee.

A brilliant and accomplished scientist, Kenneth made lasting contributions to the fields of biology, chemistry, and physics - holding over 40 patents throughout his distinguished career. His pioneering work in filtration revolutionized the industry, and his innovations continue to benefit communities around the world today.

Outside of his professional achievements, Kenneth found deep fulfillment in simple joys—spending time with his family, reading, and hosting Bible studies. His faith, wisdom, and hospitality created a welcoming space for reflection, connection, and learning.

Kenneth will be remembered for his intellectual curiosity, unwavering faith, and gentle spirit. His life leaves behind a legacy of grace, devotion, and love—gifts that will continue to inspire and uplift his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.

A funeral service for Kenneth will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
