

Kent Leslie Isom of Las Vegas passed away July 11, 2011. He retired from the Teamster Union after 45 years of service. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, moved to Hurricane, Utah at age 1 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada at age 19. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served 19 years as a temple worker at the Las Vegas NV Temple. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Leslie Isom, Laverne Lake Denny Isom and son Kenneth Frederick. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alice Isom. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Las Vegas Nevada Temple. He is also survived by daughters Donna (Stuart) Roberts of Henderson, NV, Licia (Kirby) Barkdull of Beaver, UT, sons Steven (Sari) Isom of Mission Viejo, CA, David (Ida) Isom of Henderson, NV, sister Marion (John Neil) Jenson of Ogden, UT, brothers John Robert (Judy) Isom of St. George, UT, David (Kathy) Isom of Hurricane, UT, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday July 16, 2011 at the LDS Chapel at 221 S. Lorenzi Blvd in Las Vegas, Nevada. Viewing will be from 8:30 am until 10 am, with funeral services to follow directly. Graveside services will be held at Hurricane City Cemetery, in Hurricane, Utah at 4 pm.
Our Dad is now in heaven teasing and playing pranks on all of God's angels.
